Certificate Courses

These courses deal with fundamentals and applications of a technology through classroom training along with lab exposure. These one-month courses provide the student with required practical orientation. The certificate courses offered at present are Human Cytogenetics, PCR technology, Recombinant DNA technology, Molecular Genetics, Plant Genetics, Bioinformatics, Genetic toxicology, Genetic Counseling, Animal Genetics, Biochemical and Immunogenetics

Hands on Technology courses

These sessions enable the student to acquire thorough laboratory and Instrumentation skills on a specific technology. Includes 15 days of rigorous laboratory training with End to End Laboratory sessions. The courses offered are PCR Lab, Human Cytogenetics and Biochemical technologies.

Advanced technology courses

The courses are provided to train the student in depth on a specific technology application through Industry specific problems. A research grade laboratory project designed to impart thorough knowledge of both experimental design and laboratory implementation incorporates this training under the guidance by an expert. The present courses offered are Primer Designing and Mutation Detection methodologies for different genetic conditions.
