Goals of our education division
GeneTech Professional Education aims to produce trained technologists to meet the current and future needs in the field of Lifesciences. Various technology courses tailored to foster practical and technical orientation amongst students have been designed to transform the vast potential of our country's Life science human resources into a strong technological force.
Today, several technologies in the areas of genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, bio-informatics have opened up access to a wide variety of careers, both within and outside science. Students of life sciences in India today have a wide variety of choice for their careers; work for industry in India, pursue higher education abroad, pursue research careers in India or abroad, university careers, or pursue an entrepreneurial direction.
The slow pace of integration between academic and commercial science has been a bottleneck for progress. In its efforts to standardize industry specific training, GeneTech through its studies and working with the industry has identified several technologies, deep knowledge in which would make students competitive.
